Note

There have been some change in class venue and time during the summer. So the time and venue for Complete beginner and Beginner 3 class (Sat) is to be announced. For more information, please make an inquiry!

* Complete beginners: The minimum number of students to start the class is FOUR, if there is less than four people registered, the class will not start.

** New student discount only applies to newly registered students.

Autumn Term 2026 Schedule

Description

Class type: In-person group class

Venue: New Malden High Street KT3 (Raynes Park for Complete beginners)

Class Duration: 90 minutes per class

Complete Beginners (A0-A1)* - Time and Day: TBA

Dates: September - December (13 weeks, including half-term: 31st Oct)

Eligibility: No eligibility is required

Fee: £300

Textbook: Handout + Sejong Practical Korean 1

Contents covered (Curriculum)

Hangeul, the Korean alphabet
A1 level of grammar and vocabulary
Real-life expressions
Speaking practices with activities

Beginners 3 (A1-2) - SATRUDAY, Time: TBA (afternoon)

Dates: 19 Sep - 19 DEC (14 weeks, including half-term: 31st Oct)

Teacher: Ms K Kim

Eligibility: Those who finished all Beginner courses or about 80 hours self-study

Fee: £325 / New student discount £300**

Textbook: Sejong Practical Korean 1 & 2

Contents covered (Curriculum)

A1-2 level of grammar and vocabulary
Real-life expressions
Speaking practices with activities

Upper Beginners 2 (A2) - THURSDAY, 7pm

Dates: 17 Sep - 17 DEC (14 weeks, including half-term: 29th Oct)

Eligibility: Those who finished all Beginner courses or about 100 hours self-study

Fee: £325 / New student discount £300**

Textbook: Sejong Practical Korean 2

Contents covered (Curriculum)

A2 level of grammar and vocabulary
Real-life expressions

Pre-intermediate 2 (A2-B1) - TUESDAY, 7pm

Dates: 15 Sep - 15 DEC (11 weeks, NO half-term)

Teacher: Ms M Kim

Eligibility: Those who finished all Beginner courses or about 100 hours self-study

Fee: £275 / New student discount £250**

Textbook: Easy Korean Reading by TTMIK

Contents covered

A2-B1 level of grammar and vocabulary
Real-life expressions
Reading with various daily life topics
Speaking practices with activities

Don't you have any online classes?

Currently we are not running online classes, but we are preparing for online classes for remote leaners who cannot make it to New Malden. If you would like to be in our waiting list, please click here :)

Do I need buy a textbook?

Yes. The main textbook we use is Sejong Pratical Korean series. You can buy them from Amazon US or UK. There might be some handouts for additional learning.
